Over the past nine years, VRex has become an established leader in the 3D stereoscopic imaging field with a comprehensive stereoscopic 3D product portfolio and award winning technologies.

Below are some key highlights of our company's history.

1993 - VRex Incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Reveo, Inc.
1993 - In agreement with Reveo, VRex acquires Reveo's patent portfolio for twenty inventions in the field of stereoscopic imaging that have or will be patented. Including:
  • World's first ultra compact single lens 3DS projector
  • World's first 3D flat panel uPol display
  • 1993 - VRex receives Comdex Award for 3D technology
    1994 - VRex establishes presence on the Internet with corporate site.
    1994 - VRex develops the VR-Cove immersive technology.
    1995 - Establish award winning Production Studio
    1996 - Launch the VR Surfer viewing system
    1996 - Line Blanker invention
    1997 - DepthCharge Viewer and web pack released
    1997 - VRex Productions receives 1st place award for Concerto in stereo film festival
    1997 - Launch www.3dexpo.com, an Internet portal for 3D web sites
    1997 - Standards SSDI
    1998 - Launched full VRex online store on www.vrex.com
    1998 - Receive three awards at stereo film festival for original content
    1998 - Strategic partnership established with Arisawa Manufacturing
    1999 - Launch new OEM glasses the VR Visualizers
    1999 - Receive 1st place for VRex promotional video at stereo film festival. (need to find out the exact name of the stereo film festival)
    1999 - New line-blanker technology
    1999 - Construction of Micropol factory in Japan
    2000 - VRex hires President and CEO, Mike Mizusawa
    2001 - VRex launches the VR-4200, the worlds first single chip DLP™ 3D projector system
    2001 - VRex launches the VR-Visualizers, the affordable 3D computer viewing solution for the computer
