Advertising/Marketing Case Study
Proposition: Don Searll is the creative director of Haptics,
a multimedia, computer animation production company. Mr. Searll
was given total creative control to produce a futuristic 3D Dome
for Coca-Cola. He explains, "By synthesizing the ideas of
'primitism' and 'futurism', Coca Cola's own local and global
reach is portrayed. From archaic images and historic symbols to a
futuristic animated cyberspace, visitors undergo a mind-boggling
experience - an experience never dreamed possible."
Solution: : Haptics chose VRex VR-2000 stereoscopic projectors.
A smashing success, Mr. Searll recognized VRex's contribution to this project.
Results:
"We are writing ... to thank you very much for all the support you offered Haptics to make
the Coca Cola World Cup Rugby Festival a success. We found the service and expertise supplied by all members
of the VRex staff very helpful. On calling your offices at 6 a.m. one morning, Dr. Faris himself
[the President of VRex] answered the phone and was able to respond to our queries immediately."
"As 3D developers we found the VRex products to be superb for presentation purposes, easy to use and
a wonderful new communications medium for the corporate market."
"We look forward to working with VRex again on our future projects."
